Let's do this...

I'm bbbaaaaccckkkk. So I have made some serious progress. Enough so that I'm ready to throw this gem of a photo out on the interwebs for the world to see. Not much of a change since September as the holidays slapped some squishy back on my waist line and I've been working that off but I am proud of this.

I joined up with some friends, one being all fitness guru-ish and participated in a "Healthy Living Challenge" where essentially I have learned to eat better and stop making excuses and justifications. The HLC combined with about 60-90oz of water a day and running/walking 3 miles, 3 times a week made me drop about 20lbs and significant inches!

I reached my 160lb goal and now I'm ready to tone and go for 150! I have a pair of favorite jeans that I have a picture of me attempting to get into (Nope! Not sharing that one yet!) and when I can slide them on and button them up you'll get another before and after shot! I probably couldn't have gotten them over my knees way back in February of 2013, but I'm sort of sad I didn't try.

My sister is getting married in June and to make sure I got myself fit I signed up for a Rugged Maniac race in April. So I have to get strong again. I can't be left crying in the mud in a pool of my own blubber and I refuse to be the old, fat bridesmaid. Being 7 years older than all the others and their supermodel builds really puts the pressure on. My best friend got married during the height of my chubby and while that day was beautiful and I cherish every bit of it, I hate the way I looked. I had big hair and a big ass and it was all just wrong.

My game plan? Now that it's warmer I'm going to run 3 times a week again and start round two of Jillian's Ripped in 30. I also love yoga so I'll be doing that when I can!
